Ooblets Cheats and Tips

Oobsidian is a rare crafting material in Ooblets used to build and upgrade Oobcoops, homes for excess Ooblets to live in when they are not with you. In order to progess in Ooblets you will need to find a lot of Oobsidian so you can build and upgrade Oobcoops to expand your Ooblets storage and make a self-sustaining farm. Oobcoops can be crafted by visiting the Manatwee shop's frabricuter and giving him 3 Clothlet, 15 Nurny, 10 Planklets, and 1 Oobsidian.

You will be able to find Oobsidian multiple ways, these are:



Sea Dangling
Sea Dangling is basically fishing and can reward you with Oobsidian or other good items.

Breaking Rocks
Breaking rocks on your farm each day can get you Oobsidian. Make sure you leave enough open space on your farm for rocks and other items to spawn each day.

Assign Sparkly Ooblets to Oobcoops
Putting Sparkly Ooblets in Oobcoops can sometimes give you a piece of Oobsidian while it is busy working around the farm.

Search People's Homes
You can find Oobsidian, as well as other useful stuff such as Recipe Fragments, Gummies, Club Tokens, and even food by searching through peoples homes in Badgetown. Oobletes do not care if you go rifling through their junk.

Buy them with Wishies
It is advised that you do not do this due to how expensive Oobsidian is but you can also buy it with Wishies. As you progress through Ooblets you will earn Wishies, a special currency that can be turned in via the Wishy Well in the center of Badgetown.

When you first arrive in Badgetown, Mayor Tinstle will povide you with free lodging. Be sure to weed the farmhouse as soon as possible as it holds all sorts of hidden goodies in the breakable rocks, wooden logs, and weeds that are strewn arcoss it's lawn. You can get nurnies from rocks, breaking logs and sticks will give you planklets, which are used in all sorts of crafting recipes and quests, and there is the possiblilty of getting Clothplant Seeds from weeds.



Clothlplant Seeds are invaluable as they are used to produce Clothlet which is used to craft tools like sprinklers for your farm. You can get Clothlet Seeds by entering Farm mode to display the grid and simply grabbing every weed in your way. Doing this will give you a chance for weeds to drop a Clothplant Seed which you will then be able to plant on your farm. You can purchase Clothplant Seed at Meed's Seed Shop but you will discover they are expensive costing 32 gummies for a single seed. You may be able to get a Clothplant Seed for 16 Gummies when it goes on sale but even that is not a bargain.

The currency used in Ooblets is Gummies and you will need them to complete many of the game's quests. There are several different methods you can use to get Gummies, these are listed below.

Exchange Wishies for Gummies
In Ooblets Wishies enable you to unlock new blueprints, improve your character, and buy items you don't want to search for. You can exchange your Wishies for Gummies at a decent rate in the Wishie Well menu which can be found either in town or by going to your 'Character' menu. You will be able to get 100 Gummies for ever 50 Wishies you trade in.

Sell Items to Shops in Town
You can sell items to the various shops around Badgetown providing they are things they want in exchange for Gummies. In order to sell your items to a store you simply have to approach the reigister and click 'Trade' to begin the transaction.



Scan Ooblets at the Lernery
In the top right corner of the map you will find Rugnolia, she is Badgetown's resident inventor who pays you in 50 Gummies each time you bring her a new species of Ooblet to scan. With several species of Ooblet available at the beginning of the game you should use this method early and often to get Gummies. You can even unlock more Ooblet species at the Wishie Well to get more Gummies.

Complete orders for Plenny
There is a vending machine just outside your farmhouse in the bottom left section of Badgetown. You will not be able to access it initially but with the help of Mayor Tinstle you will be able to get it working and when it is you can complete Penny's Bulk Orders which will be four tasks a day you can complete to earn Gummies which can be anything from a few to 600 and upwards. These tasks will basically be gathering different quantities of items the game lets you grow, craft, or acquire.
