Tips: Using the pack glitch (see the Codes section on GameFAQs) really helps. 15. Study King Requirements: Get a perfect score on the test. Tips: Two ways to do this: 1. Actually know your cards. Read them. Know their pictures. 2. Read the wonderful FAQ. 16. Monster Card Collector Requirements: Collect a good portion of all monster cards. (about 80%) The ability to get this one should come about one pack after Spell Collector and Trap Collector. Tips: Using the pack glitch (see the Codes section on GameFAQs) really helps. 17. Clothes Collector Requirements: Collect at least 6 different outfits (I actually got this one right after I got Tania's dueldisk. This happen to anyone else?) Tips: Try registering people so you can find them easier. Also, here is a (partial) list of every outfit, and who you get them from: Red Uniform Start with it Yellow Uniform Sartyr Blue Uniform ? Academy Jersey Fontaine North Academy Coat Chazz Black Coat Chazz (yes, he gives two) Duel Coat Crowler ? Titan Suit Chumley ? Also, here is a (partial) list of every dueldisk, and who you can get them from: Academy Disk Start with it Cheap Duel Disk Link with Nightmare Troubador ? Kaibaman Amazoness Disk Tania Gorgeous Disk Admiral ? Abidos the Third Using the Spirit Babycerasaurus (in the northern area, available after the final tournament is announced) will also increase your chances of getting a dueldisk after a duel. 21. Prince of Summoning Requirements: Acquire a total of 4 spirits (including your starter) Tips: See my Spirits FAQ for info on the spirits. Also, try getting Acrobat Monkey; it'll save you loads of time finding others. There are probably more; I just haven't gotten them yet. There are also some titles for which I am not entirely sure of the requirements. Any help is greatly appreciated. --------------------------- C. Linking with Nightmare Troubador --------------------------- It's rather easy, but people seem to have trouble with it. Here is a step-by- step guide of how to do it. --- What you'll need --- 2 Nintendo DS 1 Nightmare Troubador 1 Spirit Caller I'm fairly sure you have at least 1 DS and Spirit Caller. Otherwise you probably have little to no use for this FAQ. An easy way to get the other two is to find spomeone with Nightmare Troubador, since they most likely also have a DS. --- Steps --- 1. Turn on both systems and go to the computer in each game. 2. Go to wireless communication mode (third item from the left in Troubador, top of the list in Spirit Caller). 3. In Nightmare Troubador, create a new group. 4. Join it in Spirit Caller. 5. [Fun part] You'll notice that Trade is automatically selected for Player 2 on the NT screen, while SC will show you a standard "Please Wait" screen. Just go to Trade in NT, and select up to seven cards to offer to SC. Proceed through the trading stuff like normal (hopefully you can figure it out; it's not too complicated, but I don't have two DS's available to me at the moment). After you click "Yes" for each card in NT, SC will prompt you to buy it. Most decent cards cost a few thousand points. Off the top of my head, here's a partial reference: God cards: 4200 DP Breaker: 3600 DP Slate Warrior: 1300 DP Mokey Mokey King: 460 DP 6. After you're done, just click quit on either screen, and it will disconnect both. You can turn off NT now; nothing happened to it since every card was traded for the exact same thing. 7. If this was your first time, go to the closet (in SC; we're done with NT now). You'll noticed that you've unlocked the following: Cheap Dueldisk (the dueldisk from the Domino City saga of Yu-Gi-Oh) Stuffy Collared Shirt (just a shirt; no idea where it came from) Nightmare Troubador (a title) These three things are, in fact, functionally pointless, but can provide some relief from that horrid Red Uniform. (Note: you don't actually have to trade to get the three things. All you have to do is connect once. As soon as NT shows you the menu, you're good.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IV. How to contact me ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comments? Questions? Know something I don't? You can email me at trebek_(at)hotmail.com or IM me (AIM) at mrtadekichi (don't be too demanding with that one, though) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V. Ending ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for reading. Have a pleasant future instance. // Changelog 2-18-07: Finished first version. 2-20-07: Pulled first version; corrected some errors, add a few titles. 2-21-07: Added a few more titles and the NT section; decided to put off re-submission until more info is acquired. 2-25-07: Added more titles.
