Tomb Raider: Legend Nintendo DS Cheats and Tips

After the three gates are closed and the boulder falls down, if you look into the pit from the front you can see where the small wooden platform is. This can be moved, so climb down and move the first column to one of the light spots on the floor there, then move the wooden thing over by the wall where the ledge is and jump up and climb to the walkway, then use the center platform to jump onto the column you just moved to the light spot.

From the column jump to the right-hand ledge and work your way around to jump to the ledge to the right, climb the statue and then climb and jump onto the small roof, turning around to face the pit. See that gong? Shoot it and you will cause some of the center area to crumble and fall, at which point you can now use the grapple to swing across where you will find a lever you can pull, opening the first gate.

Now you just need to work your way through the right passage getting past all the traps to eventually reach the next lever, pull that, then make your way to the central chamber where the third lever is, and pulling that opens the last gate so you can continue the story.

This is actually a puzzle - what you need to do is roll the first stone onto the nearby pressure pad to activate that, which will reveal the pair of ladders leading to the area above - go back to the back area and use your grapple to pull the pillar on which the next stone has been placed - Roll that stone onto the pressure pad on the right as you are facing it, and this will activate the second statue which also deploys two ladders.

You can now climb either of the ladders about halfway up, and then jump to the narrow ledge around the level of the statue's hips and then jump up and grab it's face/mouth, and jump again so you are on top, at which point you can now access and climb the ladder above.

Above you can now push the final stone off of the edge and then climb back down (try not to fall, right?) and push the stone onto the final pressure pad, which completes the puzzle - and good on ya!

You need to get the water wheels spinning.

For the one with flowing water, you need to break the pillar (grenades and guns do not work). Make it up to the ledge, I don't remember what you do from there, but you should be able to figure it out.

For the dry water wheel, you need to climb up the broken ladder. There is a large room up there where there is another puzzle.

You know how if you go up the stairs and theres 2 ways 2 go? left or right? yeah? well first you have 2 shoot down the metal poles that are above the glass entry way 2 get 2 zip (if u don't have guns go into the bedroom, pull on both of the knives near the door and they will show themselves) now u have 2 go on I think the right hand balcony and at the end of it there should be a face with a tounge sticking out, u have 2 push the tounge by pressing square and then be real fast and swing 2 the other side by using the poles and push the other tounge and the statue of Athena should rise from the ground but u have 2 read what it says behind the faces 2 find out what 2 do next. Revealed visage means the faces touched in haste means them being touched quikly and the stward being raised up is the statue of Athena.

Push the crates onto the low end of the seesaw. You have to then climb back up top to jump on the hig end of the seesaw to get the crate up top. Then repeat with the other crate.
