How to get through sky babylon a lot easier
Use blaze there since she has the power of fire when you land on the flames it won't hurt her
Faster Chaos Emeralds
At the end of the game when you have fought at Big Swell, Tails will ask you to obtain material for him to power up your watercrafts. Go through the stages and power up the water bike twice to get the emeralds faster (excludes Sol emeralds). There is a possibility you may be asked to power up by Tails before the game is over.
Japanese Symbols = Rings
In a certain area where you ride the Waterbike sometimes there will be rings in the shape of Japanese Symbols. Im not sure what they mean but it is kinda cool.
How to find Islands and races
Have you ever been stuck on trying to find hidden islands and races against Jonny?
Heres what you do:
First go get in your hoverboat, it is probably the best boat, because the sub can't travel to certain islands.
Then Zoom out all the way.
Look around for white spots, or lighter blue spots.
Draw a line to that spot, and drive your boat there.
The whit spot will be a Jonny race or a hidden island
Unlockables
Unlock Sound Mode and Time Attack:
To unlock Sound mode and Time Attack beat the game.
Unlock Zone X in Time Attack:
Successfully beat the game to unlock this extra level which has four acts and is not featured in the normal gameplay mode.
Unlock Blaze the Cat:
Go to World 3 and defeat the Kraken boss in the Coral Cave and Blaze the cat will become unlocked as a playable character.
Unlock Extra Zone (Super Sonic and Super Blaze):
In Sonic's story collect ALL 7 Chaos Emeralds and finish his story then complete Blaze's story. When both these requirements are met the Extra Zone will be available at the 'Character Selection' screen.
Unlock Tracks in Sound Test:
Tracks 110 through 127 will be missing when you first unlock sound test and to be able to unlock these you have to beat the Extra Zone. To beat the Extra Zone you have to complete both Sonic and Blaze's stories and collect ALL of the Chaos Emeralds as Sonic. If completed correctly a third icon will apear on the character select screen.
Unlock Extra Ending:
Collect ALL the Sol Emeralds and Chaos Emeralds to unlock Deep Core which is the final extra boss stage.
