In the tournament why does the restore health and instant win cheats sometimes help my opponent/s?

because in this game you should only use password cheats and cheats other than that are hacks and they always back fire trust me I know:(
ye i no they keep helpin my oponent in tournaments that arent in story mode another problem with my cheats are i cant enter the tag tournament im able to enter but it just doesnt load (the tag tournament in story mode)
