Get a pony pinata(can't remember name) from grechen then it will apear
Ponocky- is the name of the horse from Gretchen. The GEM tree is unlocked at level 6 which can be bought from Lottie's store of seeds under the Ivor Bargain. (you need to give Ivor (the beggar) the items that he needs to unlock this if I am not mistaken) he will ask for milk and such things.
You need to get a ponocky and then he will come into your garden.

appear when u have 10% of grass level 6.when all ivor's requirments are met, he wii open a shop at gretchen's and he will sell u a gem seed
