I too, work my butt off to beat this level but my pulse rate drops and then I die. What am I suppose to do once I draw the Healing Star between the anuresims? I don't get what the Healing Star really does!!

I had a hard time with this level as well, but the trick I figured out for it, was to work as fast as possible in the very begining, when all the anurisms are small. You can use the healing touch, if you think it's necessary; all it does is slow everything down.
Anyways, the trick I figured out, si that at the very beginning, after you shrink the anurisms to the point where they can be excised, use the scalpel to cut them out, but don't bother to remove them with the forceps. This way you can immediately move onto excising the others, using the same process. Once you've excised the aneurism, the artery doesn't burst, and the pulse doesn't drop nearly as fast. After you've cut them all out and restored the pulse (if necessary), you can finish removing the anurisms and sowing the veins at your leisure (time permitting, of course).
I hope this helps.
