The final boss at the end of the third week (Joshua) is really hard, especially since you don't have a partner. Does anyone have any hints on how to beat him easier?

When you face him, whenever it shows you and one of your partners, look at the top screen. A directional arrow appears. Hitting that direction gives you the Light Puck permanently, multiplying your attack power. Once each partner has been shown twice, any new multipliers appear by a quick flash of light. Getting those can get your attack all the way up to x5, so just be sure to check up at the top where your friends are captured. It never goes away, so just slash and hack your way through, with perhaps one or two healing pins (probably just one with a side pin that increases usage).
