How do you open the door there and how do you get hold of one of the birds so you can fly so you can get 2the other islands you can't jump 2

Study the statues and what direction they're looking for the "how to get in" part. If you know the Song of Birds, play it. If not, don't worry about that for now...

Wait, if you want to latch onto the birds, use your grappling snake creature thing on the bar they're holding...
