u have to use the sand wand to trap him in the leveled up sand and when he stops jumping, use the sand wand to still keep him trapped and then raise yourself up on the sand and go to the back of his skull. U have nothing to worry about because he cannot move. Strike the big gem on the back of the skull a couple of times and say BYE BYE to big skull dude.
P.S. is u have twilight princess and you got past arbiters grounds, they kinda copied the boss: Twilit Fossil Stallord with the skeleton dude. Same ting on how to beat him, too

Try to shroud the skull in high sand then lift your self up with sand,hit the gem on the back of his (it's) head.if you have to repeat
