I don't remeber when (I think before the snow temple) but I got a letter from Alfonzo saying he has recovered some and would like me to come get him at the castle. I went to the (Hyrule) castle after I beat the snow temple but Alfonzo isn't anywhere. Not in his room, the training room, anywhere. I've even checked the pathway that leads to the Spirit tower. Any ideas on where Alfonzo is? Thanks for the answers!

Have you checked the train station at Castle Town?. He might be there. If you haven't talked to him yet, he should be in the room where you originally left him. Try leaving Castle Town then re-entering it
