Hi. I'm on level 4 and am just after completing the levers puzzle on the first landing. Now I'm in ''the corridor'' on the second floor and the clues are telling me that I will notice two paintings on the floor - one just before the bedroom door on the right and one just beyond the bathroom door which is on the right too. It says that I can pick up a piece of paper then a small hook from each painting, it also says to take a closer look at the clue next to the picture by the bathroom door and I will see a scrap of blue cloth which must belong to the vandal who left such a mess behind him in the corridor. The problem is I can't see anything at all next to either of these paintings and the eye isn't even changing to a magnifying glass or a hand, so I have no idea how to find these items or what I'm supposed to do. Can somebody please help me?? I'm really stuck and it's getting kind of frustrating!! Thanks in advance.

Go to the window at the back of the Study and you will see a square on the window.
Use the THREE PIECES OF PAPER in your inventory and rotate them if necessary to
Create the picture of the "Shield".
Exit the room and go down the Yellow Hallway to the Living Room.
Examine the shield that is over the couch to the left of the Bedroom door.
Click on it twice and it should open up and reveal a mirror that shows a giant
Red X next to the painting of the family tree on the opposite wall.
Go to the window at the back of the Study and you will see a square on the window.

Turn and walk left to the fireplace and pick up the SPEARHEAD that is on the
Floor next to it.
Go left until you are next to the painting of the family tree and use the
SPEARHEAD from inventory on the wall where the red X was shown.
