how do i catch the dog

I can't catch the dog. It seems to reset itself after 5 moves. Help

i did it in the end. I was trying to surround the dog straight away, but the idea is to block the outside circles first so he can't escape from one of the circles on the edge. so block the ones on the edges in the direction he is going, then try to stay one step ahead of him and block the outside ones where he will go next. Once all edge ones have been blocked, just fill in the internal circles.
