There are 4 directional controls on the top of your controller. If you press the left directional key, it will bring up the camera. When you see what you want to take a photo of, press A and the picture will be taken.
I have one of the old ds lites and I use the left trigger stylist on object then a button
The way to get the camera in scooby doo and the spooky swamp you have to press L then touch the object on the touch screen you want to take a photo of then press the A button.
For DS: press L and tap where ever you want to take a photo. Then, press A to take the picture.
