Question for Rayman DS

Ok I'm at the part in the game where you can see that Ly girl in the force field thing when you pick up the bomb thing how do you get past that flying bomb thing to hit the paches on the pipe things

If you throw the bomb up and jump you can still catch the bomb

You throw the bomb thing in the air & shoot the flying bomb with your fists
