Can someone please help me with this puzzle. I have tried and tried to figure itout, but still have not. Thanks in advance.

While the horses run at different speeds, think about where each will be after one minute (remembering that each horse's speed is shown as an exact number of laps per minute)
Uhh... Just to be direct: the answer is 1 minute and you will receive another part of the strange gizmo.
