Keep holding the styler in the summoning menu I.e the sign menu where you draw the sign for the Pokemon upto when the styler line colour changes,then draw your sign.

When in the sign menu you want to hold it in one spot until you hear a bing! Then you do the sign of the Pokemon and it will be sparkly that means it's more powerful but if it's defeated it will give a lot of points hope this helped! ;)
