To get burmy, you must slather honey on one of the many honey trees. Yes, he is very rare but I find if you slather it on the tree in the area above Floaroma and you use 23 slabs of hone, you usualy get one.

Shadow_Cresselia_101 answered:

Put honey on a golden-brown tree. He will appear occasionally, so just keep trying.

They are found when you slather honey on those sweet smelling yellowish trees. You check back within a 24 hour period and a Pokemon will appear. It could be a Burmy but there are other possible Pokemon that might appear though so it could take some time or you use many trees at one time. If you don't want to do that, see if you can get a trade on the GTS.

Slather honey on a tree that has golden leaves

100 KING answered:

You have to put honey on the honey trees to get burmy. Within 12 hours of you putting the honey on the tree a Pokemon will be there. It may or may not be a burmy.
