Question for Pokemon Pearl

Hi. I asked a question the other day which people kindly answered but - when I get to the island that is seperate from the main island the one where the battle tower is - that is all I can do - people are bloacking every other entrance. - I asked what I was ment to do - I was told - so no problem there - but the two guys who are bloacking one entrance say that who ever gave me my pokedex then something about filling it. So to get passed them do I have to fill it? I need one moreand that is it - not sure which one it is so when I find out will ask another question -

But can some one just inform me as to whether I need to fill it or not and if this is the reason y I can't continue?

Correct. All you need to di is fil up your pokedex by seeing all Sinnough Pokemon, catching them all is not required. Also, if you list the Pokemon above and below the missing Pokemon i'll be glad to tell you what it is and were to see it.
