How do you get flags for your secret base?

You steal your friend's flag.
To get flags for your secret base, you have to be in the underground with friends with you. Then, you have to find their bases (or bases) and steal their flags by hitting A on their PC's. Than just don't let them hit A on you or they get their flag back, and you have to try again. While carrying another person's Flag you must hit A on your own Pc to stow it so it counts. As you capture more flags, your flag level will rise, and eventually, you will be able to get rid of all the boulders in your base, place more items, and your Pc will earn the ability to scan for spheres you have buried, traps that are anyones and anywhere, and find treasure spots you should dig at. By the way, when you steal someones flag a faster paced chase song starts. Hope I helped!
