Hey guys. Hopefully one of you will answer my question, because my brother wants to know badly.
Okay, I went to a website (I don't know if you can post a site's name here so I won't) and it said that Rhydon evolves into Rhyperior when it holds a Protector. So I'm like "Oh yeah, this will be easy". Well, I guess it wasn't, because I used my Rare Candy on this Rhydon (and I hate Rhydon by the way, but my brother loves him so he made me do this), and then it doesn't evolve. Imagine how mad I was, for wasting a Rare Candy like that.... Oh, sorry.... Back to the question.
Here it is. How do you evolve a Rhydon? Make it hold a Protector then trade it? Or what?

Ok I had the same problem. You have to make it hold the "Protector" and trade it thats how.

To get a Rhyperior you need to trade Rhydon with the protector.
