Question for Pokemon Pearl

For the Pokemon modifier code you get 493 master balls right? I do but when I toss them to the number I want and hold L in the grass nothing appears just the regular Pokemon! I heard something about using XML files How do I do that. Just to let you know I put it in right I swear. PS. I just got my AR so I don't know how to use it.

For me, I had the same problem. Just hold down L while throwing the masterballs away and also hold down B and run. (This is what I do and it works.) Oh and there is no XMl file

Just hold down L and walk dont hold b for running.
oh and subtract the number of masterballs to get the number of the pokemon to be able to get the pokemon not take away however many you want.
