jirachi master answered:

Rock Types pwn his Pokemon, since his Pokemon are all weak to rock. Watch for Gyrados though.

Dr. Lucario answered:

First choose an Elctric-type to take out Cryus's Flying-type Pokemon then switch to a Fighting-type to destroy his Sneasel.

ChaosBug7 answered:

There is no best Pokemon to beat Cyrus. His team the first time is Golbat Murkrow, and Sneasel. The second time, He will have a Honchkrow, Weavile, Gyarados, and Crobat. For the first fight, use a Fighting or Steel type for Sneasel and Electric and Ice types for Murkrow and Golbat. A Rock type can tear through all three of them. The 2nd fight. All his Pokemon evolved, and a Gyarados is thrown in. A rock type can tear through them, but Gyrados can easily crush Rock types. Use an Electric type for Gyarados, an Ice or Electric for Crobat and Honchkrow, and a fighting type for Weavile
