OK this is really bugging me. OK so I started with a chimchar but now have a lvl 70 infernape, and when I attack, say a kricketune, with flamethrower and KO it my infernape makes an action like he's eating a berry but he's just holding a quick claw. Why does this happen??

OK that happens when you use any hold item ,like when you go first with quick claw.
I've had that happen to me, too. It means that he's using the quick claw to go faster and attack first.
