Question for Pokemon Pearl

Hello everyone I'm new to the Supercheats question board
Well I'm trying to find a way to change my pokemons color I traded my palkia for another palkia and it was a darker pink I think it's called colour or shiny Pokemon can some please help me with this...........

Well from all that I know, if it's shiny, when you put it in battle it sparkles

It was completely rare. Shiny Pok�mon are about a 1/8391 chance to find.
