Barboach can be found in many places in the Sinnoh Region by using the Good Rod. I would suggest to fish with the Good Rod in Celestic Town to find Barboach.

You can also obtain Barboach by Trade, Migration (Pal Park), or an Action Replay Code.

You can also find Barboach in the Great Marsh on certain days. Just check the Binoculars upstairs before playing the Safari game. It costs 100 Pokedollars to use them, though.

This is more of another question but is barboach version exclusive to diamon or can I find him in pearl as well
