I am on route 229, and am having trouble getting up the inclines with my bicycle, when there is only one space between say a "hillside" and the start of the incline, can someone please help?

I believe that you are talking about the one incline on Route 228. You have to set you bike to fast and come up from Route 229. Once you turn the corner, you must immediately turn and go up the incline.
It is very hard to do this, so it might take a few attempts.
