You can get into Sunyshore City after you defeat Team Galactic in Veilstone City, defeat Team Galatic at the Three Lakes, defeat the first Seven Gym Leaders, defeat Team Galactic on Spear Pillar, and Battle Palkia on Spear Pillar. After you do all this, you can access Sunyshore City.

Please look through the Q&A before asking a question. This is the most asked question in the Pearl, Diamond, and Platinum Q&As.

Don't try to skip a third of the game. You can only go to Sunnyshore once you've beaten every other gym and also beat Palkia.

you can but it's very very hard!!!! on my recommendation don't skip a third of the game.
