Flying

So I was in Victory Road and I was fighting a machoke. My crobat used fly and the machoke used submission and it hit. Then my Lopunny used bounce, the machoke used cross chop and it hit too. Why??

Mackoke and it's evolutionary family possess an ability called No Guard.
What this does is it makes all attacks have a one hundred percent chance chance of hitting it's target.
Hope this helps!

Hmmm.. It sounds like a glitch! Because the only move that can hit a Pokemon in flight is thunder. This simply means there is a technical problem with your Pokemon pearl cartrige. Thats pretty cool! It's like 2 dollar bill!

Hope this answered your question!

Thats happened to me aswell I think dynamitekid123 is right but I think there are some moves that can hit Pokemon in the air other than thunderbolt

hatershateme answered:

The ability of No Guard lets any move hit, and any move that is used against the Machoke
