I bought a used Pearl cartridge at gamestop, the guy put the cartridge into a system and said the game had been beaten and that there were ~460 Pokemon on the cartridge. When I got home and put the cartridge into my DS I could only find about 14 Pokemon...What am I doing wrong? Where did the Pokemon go?

Either the gamestop guy was trying to rip you off, or the previous owner released his/her pokemon. Hoped I helped!!

If in the pokedex it says you own 460 but you only have 14, yes the old owner released all the pokemon.
You arnt doing anything wrong, if it says you have 460 Pokemon but only own 14, then the previous owner released the rest of them, thats all.
