The quick ball is a special kind of pokeball. It is more effective at the start of a battle, and gets gradually weaker as the battle progresses. You should try throwing a quick ball out as soon as you enter a battle in hopes of catching the pokemon.
Quick ball is generally better off at the very beginnign of the battle.hence the word quick,hope that helps

A quickball has a higher advantageif you throw it at the start of an encounter...and lowers the advantage as the battle continues
A quickball gives you a higher advantage in catching something at the beggining of battle,
