There is no "best team." You'll have to experiment to find what works for you.
As a tip though, most great teams consist of 6 different Pokemon types, rather than having all of the same type. In other words, if you have a Palkia in your party, there is no point in putting a Dragonite in there as well.

Alright, look. There is no team that is the best, every team will have a weakness. Whether it is a team that is weak to different types of Pokemon, weak to higher level Pokemon, or whatever else. Point is, there is no best Pokemon Team and most likely, there never will be. You just need get Six Pokemon that are your favorites, and make them into a team. Then you can't rain that team, and they can be your best team. Everyone will have a best team, but there is no best Pokemon Team.

There is a team that no one can defeat. But you have to find the cheat for the pokemon. All you need is a Spiritbomb that nows, special gaurd, I think it was called. With that Pokemon you can't lose. But you can tie if it runs out of PP. (special gaurd is an ability that makes only super effective attacks do any damage and since Spiritbomb is a Pokemon with no weakness he is invinsable.)

No Pokemon is the "best", whatever you like and works for YOU is the best, it doesn't matter what anyone says as long as oyou use your team to the best possible way they can, and a spiritomb is useful.

The best team could be lots of combinations but I make sure the the type of my Pokemon do not match the rest for example empoleon is water steel so do not get any Pokemon with water or steel as one of their types but I use this team it is pretty useful deoxys(speed)or(defense) empoleon riachu venusaur ryperior and spiritomb I can battle 70 trainers in a row with them plus mine are all level 100 hope this is helpful I love to give advice

Actually.. There isn't any best team.. It's just a matter of you choosing different kinds of pokemon.. But as for me.. My party is Mismagius, Clefable, Palkia, Kadabra,Machoke and Empoleon....
