How do I recover lost Pokemon (all 496)

I am sorry, but I do not think that I fully understand the question that you are asking. There are only 493 Pokemon in total, and if you have released a Pokemon from the PC, then there is no way to get it back. I'm sorry, can you go into a little more detail?
There is no way...Unless you have an Action Replay if so go to the Action Replay Forum and ask for a "all Pokemon in the PC" code and see if anyone has one.
Umm.What do you mean there's only 493 Pokemon?So you can't have 496 different Pokemon.After releasing there is no way back.
All of you guys are partly correct, if you release a Pokemon that has learned a HM move than there is a chance that it will come back.
