Once you beat Cyrus atop of Mount. Coronet. All that you have to do is go the Valor Resort (the big resturant where you can battle people. Then just go left. And after a few trainer battles you will be in Sunnyshore City.

You must beat a team glactic traneir at MT. Coronet(on top). Then go to the town Valor. Its not on a mpa but it's there. Thenn head right to sunnyshore City.
Know that even if you follow the correct path, you will not be able to get to Sunyshore City if you did not beat the Galactic members at the three great lakes, and fight Cyrus and Palkia on Mount. Coronet. If you did do all those things, then you can proceed onwards to sunyShore City without interruption by heading east of that restaurant that is north of Pastoria City.
You have to encounter palkia then the guy blocking the path w'ont be there
