I don't know if I'm fully accurate but it's somthing like 15-20 floors then you can savwe it then you av to do another 10-15 floors or sommet.

You're pretty much right,
Dark Crater has like,20 floors,then theirs one of those save points,and them 15 more floors -.-
Then you finally get to battle Darkrai

Dark Crater has 15 or 16 flors Deep Dark Craters has 15

DARK Crater has 15,
DEEP Dark Crater has 14,
Get pass all of those floors and voila,
You'll reach the Pit of the Crater.
