Monster Houses

How do I get through a monster house? I always get defeated or have to use a Foe-Fear Orb, but what if I don't have one?

I have a Chimchar with Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Slack Off and Protect. My Piplup has Peck, Dig, Whirlpool and Water Pulse.

I would Suggest attempting to obtain a TM heat wave for your chimchar. or, you could get another pokemon that can learn moves that attack a whole room, such as discharge or ominous wind

I think the move Vacuum-cut or Razor Leaf, if those don't work, I recommend a high level pokemon.

if you can get them all to follow you to where you came in if it was single path and start pwning them one by one it works depending on ur health.

How do I get them to follow me? If I go back my partner (Piplup) will be attacked
Guest answered:

If you have dialga use roar of time or if you don't have him learn a move that will hurt everyone in the room like discharge, earth power(I think) and for close range or are surrounded use a move that will hit the pokemon in an area like explosion or self destruct but those are risky. Earthquake is good but it will hit your team members swell that are in the same room as you are. If all else fails use an orb or seed to help you. Before going into a dongeon have reviver seeds, max elixers, apples some sort of seed that give you an advantage. For the seed I use x eye seed or the totter or blinker seed. If you have the pure seed in a monster house use it if you run out so you will teleport to the stairs and leave. With that said bring totter, slumber, and foe fear orbs to aid you. That is about it oh and be prepared I wasn't and lost my Golden mask a hard item to get zero isle foget witch one but it was on floor 57 or so. Well hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer. How do I get Discharge or Earth Power though? Is there a Fire-type thing that is sort of similar?

Guest answered:

just use any move that hits either the whole room, or every tile around you to get through safely, if you or your partner is fire typed, you could probably use heat wave to destroy all enemies at once, or if you are done with the game, and use things like palkia, just use spacial rend, its cheap, but really fun to see them die instantly too =P
