how do you recruit Darkrai

You might need to use a Friend Bow or a Golden Mask to increase your chances of recruiting him, I had to use a Golden Mask to get him.

I've seen this problem alot. The best place to recruit Darkrai is at Miracle Sea. You can find Darkrai on the 3rd floor. Hard to believe, huh?! Go there with one of the legendary recruitment items, and keep at it. Sometime sooner or later, you should recruit them.

I also had this problem, and it's kind of easy. All you do is go to Miracle Sea with a secret slab in your inventory and a mystery part. With a hold item of a friend bow or golden mask. Go to floor 3 and he is there, but remember he isn't the only Pokemon on that floor.

The requirements are as follows to meet Darkrai:
- You need to have beaten him in Dark Crater
- You need a Mystery Part or Secret Slab in your Treasure Bag (Both can be acquired on prospect missions)
- You need to go to Miracle Sea B3F
When you fight Darkrai, he is level 53 with standard health. His recruit rate is -20%.
The best way around his horrible recruitment rate is to use either Manaphy or Cresselia - feed them lots of Gummis until they have the IQ "Fast Friend." This gives you an extra 1% chance of recruitment. Equip Manaphy/Cresselia with a Golden Mask or Amber Tear (Acquired at the Zero Isles) and make them your party leader. Make sure they are at level 60-69.
The formula is as follows:
-20 (R-Rate) + 24 (Mask/Tear) = 4
4 + 12.5 (Lvl60-69 R-Rate Bonus) = 16.5
It takes some time, but keep plugging away at it!

If you really need it, search for some Golden/Joy Seed codes, being at Lv100 increases your chance by 24% + Amber Tier/Golden Mask.

Do the Equation: Darkrai has exactly -22% Recruitment rate, so: 24 + 24 = 48 - 22 = 26%

You need the Mystery Part/Secret Slab to meet it, but if you cannot find it, no problem, it's because he can walk through walls so you might not meet it.

I've tried everything listed here. I've tried my Shaymin (100), my Cresselia and Manaphy (both over 60) and equipped them all with Golden Masks, Friend Bows, Amber Tears, Mystery Parts, Secret Slabs, etc. And Darkrai always faints and then disappears. Can someone please inform me as to what method is the most effective?

I recruited him in explorers of darkness with a lv 68 typhlosion equipped with an amber tear. Considering if I just waited in the same room he would show up in less than a minute I would say the feminine charm of a typhlosion did the trick to find himXD he was like a stalker!

I've gone to Miracle sea countless times and I still haven't been able to recruit him. I've got everything listed as the items that you need but nothing is working. I have a level 100 charizard and a level 79 magenium with me, along with a friend bow which they wear, and an amber tear I wear. I'm running out of escape orbs fast and I need some help. :(
