Upper Stem Cave and Groudon

Hi.... Anyway an easy way to beat groudon is use a sleep seed on him and keep using bubble make sure you kepp puting him to sleep or use another seed thats how I got through it...................

That's the same team I had!!!!! Just keep using your water type moves and any seeds that can cause him to become disoriented.

You should use a sleep or todder seed on groudon. Then use your water type moves on it.Bye.

You should level up your team up alot more. Make your Piplup have Hydro Pump, and Chimchar have Flamethrower. You'll be fine if you do. My Pokemon were about up to level 30 at that point; I had both Flamethrower and Hydro Pump (my team was charmander and squirtle), and I beat Groudon on the first try. You should also go after a bunch of sleep and totter seeds; to confuse Groudon, and make him fall asleep, so you could attack them easier. You should beat them if you do all this.

I had chimachar as my leader and pipulp as my partner. I had almost the same moves and almost same level. All you do is through a tooter or sleep seed make sure you trow it not eat it when hes asleep use bubble and ember repet till groundon bet

Try using moves from a distace that worked for me.

Put him asleep and attack from a distance.

You need to level up major to about 25 and use sleep seeds trust me!!!!!!!!!!!

hi,i have a level 24 umbreon and my partner is a level 24 umbreon. hero moves are dig,quick attack,protect and torment-partner moves are tackle,growl,pursuit and quick attack.can somebody PLEASE help me ive tried to defeat him like !20! times and i cant defeat him!

You can't use orbs in boss battles and totter orbs are rare!

I know I beat groundon on my explorers of time with a squrtle and a picachu I just used sleep seed when he came to attack me and when he woke up I used enougher try and get water pulse too it is very useful.with your chimchar I suggest you buy or find fire blast I bought fire blast long before I went against groundon but I had no on to teach it too.If that does not work use cheats like action replay or maybe get a strong Pokemon from a friend

To beat groudon , the items you'll need are: rainy orb, water type Pokemon.then when you battle groudon, the weather will be sunny. Use your rainy orb. It will start to rain. That's good so your water type Pokemon will do a lot more damage on groudon. Groudon is technically level 30 and has HP in between 800 and 900. Oh yeah! If you have a grass type Pokemon, that would be best to use because groudon is ground type and water is actually made for rock Pokemon but you can use water or grass. Which ever one you like. I believe groudon is the 4th strongest boss in the game.

Well, heres what you do:

First of all, with Groudon's Drought, fire types do wonders.

Second of all, water types don't do much damage.
Only grass types are super effective to him, unless you have an ice type move.

Now, here are some rules I follow before fighting a boss:

1. Have some Reviver Seeds. (unless the boss is incredibly easy, or you are really high in level)

2. Have some Status Seeds. (x-eye seeds, sleep seeds, even doom seeds help)

3.Have a Strategy Guide for the Boss.

E.g: stay away from groudon, have some long range moves.

Quick attack, Foresight, Force Palm,and feint

1st try and I defeated groundon with ember water gun and mud slap
