Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

I've beaten the game and want Spinerack to come, and I know that to make him come I need surf from solar cave, but I don't have solar cave. How do I get it?
(P.S. The Pokemon I always use are Charizard, Riachu, and Zapdos. Should I change them to?)

If you don't have Solar Cave unlocked, goto the Town Square and talk to
the following people in this order. First Medicham, then Lombre, then
finally Whishcash who should give you HM Dive.This will unlock solar cave

Do you have the HM dive? You may have missed a special mission or something.

Take zapdos out so you team size is smaller becuse the reason you can't have a bird with another legen bird or onix is there sizes are to big and Pokemon I think only join if theres room for 2 more and freind bow,rank and others help
