Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

Hey Pimpblue here! Anyone know a good Strategy on how to recruit Groudon ?? I know i'm supposed bring one Pokemon only because he takes up 2 spaces, and i've beat him 6 times already! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??????!!!

His recruitment rate is 50 percent. Just be patient and keep trying. I got lucky and got kyogre on my 1st time going back, and zapdos and moltres on my 2nd times. I'm working on recruiting mew. Also, a hint is to have a good leveled grass type Pokemon that knows bullet seed. Just use it at the beginning and keep using it till he dies.
