I just started this game yesterday and I am a mudkip. I just got to the part where I have to help caterpie get his friend back and I can't beat team meanies. And I was also wondering if you can evolve in this game

You can evolve but you have to off beaton half of this game before you are able too and you have to keep using diffrent attacks on the team
Many people ask this. Once you beat the last regular mission (sky town summit ) you can start evolving your guys
