Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team

My partner is not attacking even though he is on, "lets do this together" when I put him on go after foes he goes at them but then he stops and does nothing except get hit. HELP PLEASE

Maybe the moves your partner has aren't selected. To remedy this situation, go into a dungeon(or Gulpin Link Shop) and select "TEAM". Then select your partner's name, then "MOVES". If the move has a star next to it, it's selected and can be used. To change this, select the move you wish, then choose "SELECT". The move is now usable by the Pokemon.
