What cave does Mew appear in, and I heard you need a music box as well to find him...where do I get it at, and does Mew ALWAYS join you're team, or is he like the other legendaries that only have like a 10 percent chance of joining?

Music Box is what you get when 3 part from 3 Regis merges.
Mew will appear from 36F-98F. It will be one of those when you just arrive on that floor. It may appear in Monster House. And only once every floor will Mew appear.
Mew has the base recruit rate of 0.9%.
Mew appears in B36-B98 - Buried Relic Dungeon. The music bow is the rock, ice, and steel parts formed together. In the buried relic there are Regirock on B15f, Regice on B25F, and Registeel on B35F. Then look for Mew and play that music box in the room you found him in!
