You have to buy rainbow peak and then go against HO-OH alone!! That's probably the only reason you didn't get him/her!!

Did you kill it from far away? If so, you have to do hand to hand combat!

Ok I requtid ho-oh on my second time at lvl 78 no friend bow so I don't know why you can't get him unles you are a to low lvl srry but I just killed him and he joied but you do need rambow peak
