You can't, unfortunately. Only regions offered in this game are Johto, Kanto, and a small section of Sinnoh. Hoenn just about doesn't exist in this one. Sorry.

you complete the game and then start all over and you will be in the hoen regin and have your pokemon but lv 100 with lv 1 shadow lugia it will also give you all the pokemon but remeber i created pokemon by mr.pokemon master

Im sry, but hoenn really is a non existant region in this game, and as awesome as it would for hoenn to be in this game, I don't see how the heart gold storyline would be able to continue onto a third region becuz it must have been hard to at least continue the storyline into kanto as the second region. So anyway to sumrize it, HOENN DOES NOT EXIST(in HG/SS

In the game a guy said latios escaped from hoenn so there is 99% chance hoenn is a region.

There is no Hoeen region but there is the embedded tower or however you spell it. Me and my friend love Pokemon.I think the only sinnoh region is the lake with red gyarados. I forget spellings sorry

U have 2 get a Pokemon that knows fly and go to fuchsiawont city. It wont work if you go on foot. Then goto to the pal park and talk to the guy at the counter but hav a legendary Pokemon first in you're party. He will tell you to go to the safari zone in the other region. Talk to the old dude and he will unlock hoenn for you!

To get to hoenn you do the Pokemon league again catch at least 2 legendary Pokemon and have mudkip,treecko,or torchic. Then you talk to Steven he will take you to a ship that leads you to hoenn

IYou can find Steven Stone in silph co where he will trade his beldum,I am not sure about boat to hoewen(know ho to spell it)
