No, but you can migrate. Which means you take from the GBA and gives to your DS. You can't give them back. The difference is that the lite is more travel friendly.

You can trade it ds lite was ment for this game ds was not.also ds has no light ds lite does
You can't trade, but you can migrate from firered/leafgreen/ruby/sapphire/emerald to pearl/diamond.
U can't trade from DS to gba but you can from gba to DS through the pallpark.
The difference from a NintendoDS and lite is the lite is smaller, has better picture, has it's start, select and power buttons in different places and it has a in built wi-fi Nintendo browser.
It's a bummer, but no. It's only one way for now. ds lites are lighter and smaller. The microphone is in the middle. They come in different colours, the screens are the same size as the original, but brighter, there is a cover for the gba cart slot, the stylus is thicker. The top screen clamshell is much lighter and differently shaped so it fits together to make a sleeker closed shape, the casing is coloured and has a kind of clear sheen to it, and the logo on the case is just the two rectangles.
All in all it's just an up-grade. But it's a good up-grade.
The functions internally apart from the brighter screen, are essentially the same.
No. You cannot trade from DS to GBA.
A nintendo DS lite has 4 light settings on it's screen. And the DS has only ON and OFF settings. DS Lite lasts longer on one battery charge. And it's graphics are WAY better.
