Hi I want to get somebodys opinion about this question. Which starter..

I reckon piplup it works with water types on most Pokemon games

It depends on what YOUR favorite is.

Piplup [Empoleon] is good in Special Attack and HP. Chimchar [Infernape] is awesome in Attack and Speed. Turtwig [Torterra] is killer in Defense and Special Defense.

They can all learn moves that kill their weaknesses, and also take down their strengths. Empoleon is a new mix of Water/Steel. Infernape is the same as Blaziken from Ru/Sa/E being Fire/Fighting. Torterra is Grass/Ground and is only weak to Ice type attacks.

If you like the new mix of Water/Steel and can learn Ice attacks, choose Piplup. If you liked Blaziken in Ru/Sa/E, choose Chimchar. If you want a Pokemon that can help you out in-game, choose Turtwig.

I prefer Chimchar, because his 3rd evolution is the fastest and strongest by far.

I like psichic Pokemon the most but there was no psichic Pokemon at starter so I did choose an random Pokemon and after I defeated my rival first time I walked in the grass and I found an abra so I catched it and trained him the whole time so what I try to say you just gotta know what kind of Pokemon you like, I like psichic so I catched an abra but if someone likes fly type he can cath an starly and if you like grass/poison you can cath an budew so what I try to say you don't gotta train youre starter the whole time just train the Pokemon you like the most look at me I did choose an chimchar (fire) as my starter but hes now and lvl 20 monferno and my abra evolved into an kadabra and then into an alazam and he is now 65 / if you wanna train youre starter you gotta choose an fire Pokemon hes the strongest

Piplup I finished the game with it. It was pretty hard

you should start out as piplup cause it is better than the others and i beat the game with my piplup it took me about 8days just to beat it.(with piplup lv100)

I think that would be chimchar because it is easy until you get to the elite four.

I picked Piplup and then had my friend hatch the other 11 starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, and Chimchar) for me. So basically I had 12 starters the day I bought the game. But if I had to choose only one Sinnoh starter then it would be Piplup.
