Yeah just have a Pokemon with an ability for the opposite Pokemon not to flee

What you can do is get a Pokemon like golbat and teach it mean look so the Pokemon can't flee.

Well the only one that flees is mesprit, and you can't stop that because you're supposed to chase it around.

You can have a Pokemon use block or mean look. Also Wobbuffet & Wynaut have the ability shadow tag. It keeps the opponent from running away.
