What do the "warp trap" and "radar trap" and them do?

Question for Pokemon Diamond
What do the "warp trap" and "radar trap" and them do? I have them all but when I or a friend step on them, nothing happens, except we have an "!" above our head.
Plz help!

I am 99% sure that you need 2 warp traps at different points in the underground for the Warp trap to work. (It will warp you from one to the other.) I am not sure about "Radar trap" sorry.
