Question for Pokemon Diamond

I gave my Roselia and Shiny Stone and leveled it up but it didn't evolve and I want to know why.

You don't give the Shiny Stone to Roselia and level it up, you just have to use the Shiny Stone on it.

Okay, I'm ready to answer. I don't think the shiny stone will work if you give it to Roselia. You have to take it back from Roselia if he or she is holding it.

Then, when the game asks you what to do with it when you select it from the items pocket, hit USE. When you do that, Under Roselia it will say "ABLE!". Then select Roselia and it should evolve. Hope I helped! (P.S: It doesn't matter what level the Roselia is. IT WILL EVOLVE!)

You have to use the Shiny stone on Roselia, not have him/her hold it.

That's because you're using it wrong you "use" the shiny stone on Roselia, then it evolves into Roserade.
